Serving tray with Maple side rails and handles. The Tray base is made with Red Oak, Walnut, Padauk accent strips and the center piece is from a Pecan log.
The tray is 11 1/2' wide x 23' long. It is treated with 2 coats of food safe mineral oil and a coat of beeswax meltedinto the wood to seal and help preserve the surface. The wood is glued together with waterproof glue and Padauk dowels are used as mortise pegs for both decoration and added support.
